Hi, I’m Elide, my name is Italian and pronounced like 'Melody' without the 'M.' I live in the beautiful country town of Orange, NSW, Australia, with my wonderful husband and our two amazing boys.

Since becoming a midwife in 2013, I’ve had the privilege of supporting countless women on their journey through pregnancy, labour, birth, and postpartum. I’ve witnessed women in their most challenging moments- times of darkness, discomfort, disappointment, and feeling lost. But I’ve also been there for their greatest triumphs- moments of joy, empowerment, strength, and transformation. I am deeply passionate about supporting mothers during this life-changing time. I truly believe this period has the power to shape us in profound ways, and having the right support is absolutely essential.

My own greatest awakening and achievement came when I gave birth to my two beautiful boys. My second birth, in particular, was the most incredible experience of my life. The growth and power that comes from trusting and believing in yourself is something I wish all mothers could experience. My journey through motherhood, breastfeeding, and matrescence, with all its challenges, has shaped me into the woman and mother I am today. I’ve learned more about myself and my purpose than I ever could have imagined, and I feel called to offer this kind of support to others.

Motherhood is a monumental shift- a profound awakening into a new life, new self, and new purpose. It’s a time when endless support, kindness, encouragement, and love are essential. Through my work, I hope to offer the kind of care I craved during my own journey. I aim to make your experience of pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and motherhood a little lighter, a little more trusting, and a little more joyful.
